The West Virginia Mountaineer coaching staff is working hard to close out the 2018 recruiting class and fill the remaining positions of need, after signing a large portion of the class back in December, and they may have found just what they needed along the interior offensive line in Joe Brown.

Brown originally committed to the University of Miami out of high school, and earned a job as a starter as a redshirt freshman. Brown transferred to BYU after two years in Coral Gables, but eventually ended up at Eastern Arizona Community College, alongside his brother – and fellow West Virginia commit – Mike.

Brown will play his final year of eligibility at West Virginia, and is expected to make a push for playing time as soon as he arrives in Morgantown.

Wholesale Wisconsin Badgers Jerseys

For three full months, the University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team has been the undisputed No. 1 team in the country.

The Badgers were the top-ranked team in Monday’s USCHO.com Division I women’s poll with all 15 first-place votes.

In polls conducted in November, December and January, UW has been the only team receiving a first-place vote.

That continued after the Badgers swept St. Cloud State last weekend at LaBahn Arena to improve to 26-1-1 overall and 17-0-1 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association

With three weekends left in the regular season, UW can wrap up a third straight WCHA regular-season title and first-round playoff bye with one victory in a series at

No. 6 Ohio State on Friday and Saturday.
